Multi-tone Simulation of Mixers

چکیده
This paper describes a new artificial frequency mapping technique suitable for the simulation of RF/Microwave mixers when excited by a multi-tone signal. Due to the computational efficiency gained this way, it is for the first time possible to simultaneously analyse small and large signal behaviour of nonlinear mixers subject to real multi-tone signals. As well as the theoretical study, illustrative simulation results will be given.
